Healthcare and Advancement Project

SpiritWind International is in the funding and planning stages of a monumental HIV/AIDS healthcare and advancement project. This project’s anticipated location is the greater Johannesburg, South Africa area. There are four major components to this project: a functional hospital, regional clinics, education facilities, and HIV/AIDS orphan homes.

The core of this project will be a hospital for HIV/AIDS patient care. Although outpatient services will be performed, the primary focus of the state of the art facility will be on advanced treatment and end-of-life care. Regional clinics within the geographic area of the hospital will provide the bulk of the outpatient services. These include testing, scheduled treatments, check-ups, and most certainly distribution and administration of medications. By placing clinics throughout the area, accessibility is greatly increased, while at the same time overhead cost of treatment is decreased.

A large conference center and training facility will be part of the main campus. This area will be utilized for community education programs and healthcare provider and professional . . . more information coming soon

Finally, AIDS orphan homes (read more…) will share the main campus with the hospital, conference center and training facility. Even though each house will still only house 8-10 children, this venture will provide a significantly increased capacity to care for the multitude of AIDS orphans. Rather than solely undertaking the lengthy process of establishing homes within existing neighborhoods, this component will make a large and speedy impact on the need of caring for these children in need.
