Zimbabwe Church Plant
An Exciting Opportunity

The Assemblies of God in Zimbabwe has declared a God-sized vision to plant 500 new churches in their country. This nation has gone through an enormous amount of conflict and economic struggle, and the people in Zimbabwe have become hungry for truth and reality – longing for more of God. They believe the time has come to go beyond the past conflicts and raise the banner of redemption with great enthusiasm. Seize the opportunity in the lifetime of the opportunity… now is the time to come alongside the AG in Zimbabwe and join hands to build the Kingdom of God.

Zim-Church Plant Objectives
Plant 500 Churches: Establish 300 tent churches and 200 permanent church buildings across Zimbabwe within five years.
Leadership Development: Train and equip 500 local pastors and 1,000 lay leaders to lead these new congregations.
Community Impact: Facilitate community development through church-led initiatives such as early childhood education, health, and economic empowerment programs.
Sustainability: Develop a self-sustaining model through local Zimbabwean church contributions.
Partnership Synergy: Leverage our experience and USA based organizations & churches’ expertise in church planting, coaching, and funding to ensure project success.

The Challenge
Like all mission projects, finances are always a challenge, but the good news is that we have developed a method for churches, organizations, and even individuals to be able to easily and successfully plant a church in Zimbabwe and in so doing fulfill the Great Commission. This is not a start-up venture, but rather a proven ministry that has already planted thousands of churches across Africa.
The reason why many have been reluctant to plant churches on the mission field is because there is so much work and finances involved. By joining hands with us, we will come alongside you and take all the hard work from there on your behalf.
And again, while the Zimbabwe Project is new, planting churches is not!

Easy Steps to Get Involved
Begin to pray for the mission work in Zimbabwe.
Develop a plan to raise the funds for the church plant.
A U.S. church should cast the vision of planting a Zimbabwe church, utilizing a tent that can seat approximately 150 people. Cost includes equipment and innovative ways of equipping pastors by means of already available amazing technology and printed manuals.
Trained full-time Judea staff facilitates these developments on behalf of you or your church. Judea oversees the acquisition of the tent, arrange for transportation from South Africa to Zimbabwe, and lead the church plant effort locally.

The Financial Commitment
The million-dollar question is: How much does it cost?
The amazing answer is: $3,500 for the initial church plant. That’s it! Although that is not the total cost of the plant—the local church plant and partner organizations supplement the funds needed.
Connect with our organization, raise the funds, and the rest is history!
*A representative will be available to help Pastors share the vision with their congregation.

It Does not End There!
If the growth of the new church plant is especially rapid, a larger tent can be provided—made possible, ideally, through the continued generosity of the same U.S. church, organizations, or individuals.
The ultimate goal is to provide a permanent church building when the new congregation demonstrates healthy and sustained growth. These buildings can be constructed in a very short time at a cost of only $10,000!
The permanent church building is completed with ICM’s significant financial partnership and the generosity of additional donors in Southern Africa. At this stage, the Zimbabwean congregation also plays a vital role—including contributing select building materials and local labor. Rather than relying solely on international support, they actively invest in creating their own lasting place of worship.

An Added Benefit
Pastors, churches, and individuals who are serious about church planting in Zimbabwe and who financially and prayerfully support the vision, will be invited to visit their church plant in Zimbabwe, or even dedicate the tent-church if they desire. They will be accommodated in a well-kept and safe safari lodge in South Africa where they will enjoy a wildlife safari and taken to their mission outreach. This is by invitation only and these facilities (including meals) will be provided without any charge to the pastor, and a nominal fee for the team members (of course, travel expenses will be your responsibility).
There are times when visiting the church plant may not be feasible due to political or safety reasons. In this case, the pastor from the church plant will travel to the lodge in South Africa and meet with you.
